Abstract:
In this talk, I will present our recent progress in understanding the superconducting properties of exfoliated kagome metal CsV3Sb5. I will begin with clean-limit 2D superconductivity in thick exfoliated films [1], and then discuss an anomalous dimensional crossover in the superconducting regime. Finally, I will address challenges in identifying intrinsic in-plane anisotropy through angular magnetotransport measurements, showing how extrinsic factors like current direction and vortex motion can dominate observed anisotropies [2]. Collectively, these findings establish CsV3Sb5 as an exceptional platform for studying dimensionality and provide insights into probing anisotropic responses in layered quantum materials.
